"Once Upon A Time" Review: A Fairy Tale Story, As Charming As Prince

If you can get your giggling at fabulous premise ABC's "once upon a time" (7:0 Sunday evening, ABC; 2.5 stars out of 4), you are probably going to delight in the new drama from writers of "Lost."

This is a big "If".

Here's an idea: the characters from tales of the world, which includes Prince Charming, snow white and the seven dwarfs, Gepetto, Jiminy cricket and Rumpelstiltskin magically transported to the evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) modern Storybrooke, Isle of man, with no memory of their original identity. Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin), for example, becoming Mary Margaret Blanchard, a teacher on his way to becoming a spinster because she just can't find her Prince Charming, until it comes in the form of unidentified coma patient (Josh Dallas).

Currently, the Queen of evil has taken the form of an evil mayor who took a child, Henry (Jared Gilmore), who reads a book of fairy tales, granted to him by Mary Margaret as a crystal ball. It tells the story of a real person all the townfolk and can be used as a road map to his adopted MOM wicked ways. He was looking for — Oh wait, spoilers!

Anyway, the Mayor of Regina/evil Queen feels its grip on the city and its control of the tale, that people are at risk of bounty hunter Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison). When Emma, Henry and Mary Margaret meet, they begin to unravel the mystery in the hope to return to their tales of home.

You can say a couple of "Lost" writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz — created a series, and that "Lost" co-creator Damon Lindelof was consulting producer, whatever that is. History of Slingshot back and forth from the world of a fairy tale for Storybrooke and mystery and intrigue, it seems like they will create and build and. .. You get the idea; resolution can come slowly.

While Horowitz and Kitsis, clever and playful as they insert a fairy-tale characters to this day, to keep my interest even when, as I said earlier, I am chuckling. But maybe it's a good sign, the show is not enjoyable. Once upon a time "is simply charming, as Prince.
