Eid-ul-Zuha 2011: Festival of Sacrifice

Eid-ul-Zuha seen most of my non Muslim friends and even their children to be a pretext for the slaughter of animals is not their fault. My kids see me as a "butcher" when I go forward with this ritual!
Others react the same way.
Tilak Rastogi, one does not come to my house the day of Eid-ul-Zuha as he can not carry blood, the blood and stink because of the sacrifice of goats.Although the slaughter of innocent animals for many heart-rending, in accordance with the Mufti Mukarram Ahmed, Shahi Imam of the 17th century Fatehpuri Masjid Delhi, animal sacrifices, too, is part of the balance of nature. If there is no sacrifice of goats, their number will increase manifold the degree that people will not have a place to live.
Victim, which is usually taken as the slaughter of animals, over an incident in the life of the Prophet Muhammad shows. As soon as he received a Christian guest from Najran in his house. There was no food at night, except for some goat's milk. The Prophet offered his guest the milk, though his own family was left without food in the night like last night. This is the correct way to sacrifice for others.
Eid-ul-Zuha, the festival brings to mind one of submission to God and a sense of sacrifice and obedience attached to it, also known as Eid-ul-Azha. In the Urdu-speaking community, it is known as Eid-e-Qurban, or more often in the sub-continent Bakra Eid (festival of the goat).
The fundamental truth is that this festival brings a sacrifice to God and close to each other. In fact, it does not sacrifice a camel, goats, sheep, sheep or lamb, but also himself, the happiness, comfort and wealth in the name of God.May seem barbaric to many as an act committed sacrificing the lives of countless animals. But these sacrifices and serve to maintain and keep livestock in check.
The festival also represents a test of faith and devotion.
Like any other religious holiday, Eid-ul-Zuha also has a symbolic religious incident attached to it, that God's command to the patriarch Abraham, sacred to three religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, to sacrifice his son.
In addition, the victim of a part of any faith, no matter what form it comes. After the Eid-ul-Zuha, the three parts of animal sacrificial meat is distributed among the poor who can not afford the joy of eating well. Thus, Id-ul-Zuha also symbolizes the sacrifice of one of them for the convenience of the needy, the weak, the elderly and the oppressed. The spirit of sacrifice, to learn from parents who sacrifice for their loved ones.
